Hello my butterflies, I’m so happy to be back in Pennsylvania, and to see all of my family and friends. Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart for all of your love and support during my journey to Nationals; I couldn’t have done this without your love and blessings. First and foremost, I would like to say again congratulations to my beautiful sister Kali Coutour. This experience that we shared showed and taught me things about you and myself that I’m grateful for. Baby, you’re a star and a humble soul; thank you for being you. Even though things may not have gone as planned for me, being able to see you in the top seven at MGA, was all I ever wanted for the Miss Pennsylvania America system. Seeing you shine on that stage made me so proud to call you my sister, and most importantly, my friend.

 

Miss Gay America was such an amazing experience to be a part of, and I highly recommend any of my fellow sisters to be a part of it. I learned so much about myself, my art, and our community. I was able to meet a wide array of performers who have made an impact on my career. The memories that I have, I will cherish them forever. Knowing what I know now, has also changed my views forever. Now I am a part of a bond and a sisterhood that no one can ever take away from me. Thank you, Miss Gay America pageant system, for showing me that we can come together to support one another. That’s what it’s all about, lifting each other up, not tearing each other down. If you are reading this, and this all sounds like something you would like to be a part of (a legacy), please do. However, know that it does take a lot of hard work and discipline, but in the end, it is all worth it. You are able to find traits within yourself that you never thought you had. That’s something a crown can never give you… it is the love and strength within yourself!
